Thursday Night Throwdown 4/26: Super Monday Night Combat

We've teamed up with the generous, clever technologists over at Uber Entertainment to help make this week's Thursday Night Throwdown a little more special...er. Yeah, we'll be playing Super Monday Night Combat with you and yours starting at 4PM Pacific Time, cuz that's jus' what we do. There will probably be some cameo appearances from various stone-cold murderers at Uber Entertainment, but, hey, check this shit out, you can also play as the fucking Luchadeer! Basically! Watch this trailer, go to the website, and get your damn code! Do it quick, though. As soon as TNT is over, we are shutting down the Luchadeer code machine, possibly (probably?) possibly forever!

If you want a chance to play with us, and a select, elite few members of the Uber posse, send a Steam friend request to GBTNT, and be ready to sizzle at 4PM Pacific Time!

I haven't stopped repeating "That's Amazing!" outloud to myself since I watched that video.

Holy shit! Now I wish I had the skills to play this game.

Does this mean Luchadeer gets his own page now? This has to count, by law.

It's a shame I am a terrible vet, this skin does kind of make me want to get better with it though...

Nope. Jeff isn't that versatile with the voices and the cadence is wrong. He's affecting a very subtle Southern drawl. That's probably whoever they got to do voicework for that character.

The secret is to use his l shift ability, the pull move, judiciously. Pull enemies right next to one of your turrets then immediately grapple them so they're stuck being pounded. Alternatively pull a guy to a precarious spot so you can do your grapple throw and ring them out. Pull dudes 24/7 and win.

edit: The big problem is that the Veteran is no longer free. I was foolish and spent my free $7.50 in store money on a single pro, the Gunslinger.

I am a newb but the gunslinger is so good. Just scored 12K points with her going 23-3
