Two New Ghost Recons Coming To The Wii And PSP In November

Man, Tom really gets around.

PSP version looks pretty good. Also, its possible for the developers to employ multiplayer in the PSP version of a game but not the Wii version...?

GRAW2 is better than the wii version by far. And this looks boring, its just cover and shoot co op style with the two guys stuck together at every wall.

Gosh. The biggest insult is that the naff looking Wii game shares the same title with the totally awesome original PC games.

From intense, rock hard team based strategy to... futuristic on rails shooter. Ehhh?

I will be really interested to see what they do with the PSP version as some handheld GR could be very cool for the long slow winter nights in my job.

Ugh. What the hell are they doing with the Wii version. I'd figure the Red Steel engines would be some sort of start for a nice shooter on the Wii, but I guess Ubi Soft has other ideas.

Really hoping this works out.  Like the look of it, just  not sure if they'll pull it off.

Not totally against rail shooters (House of the Dead Overkill is one of my fav wii games) But i don't see why they keep trying making down graded franchise games like this on the Wii, when the target audience would probably be more interested in the real game coming out, guess the Tweet demographic still buys stuff like this.

The Wii graphics, while nothing to write home about, are definitely better than the PSP graphics.  It would be funny, for sure, if it were the other way around but it just is not the case.

Ubisoft says that Predator will feature an "exclusive tactical experience," giving you options between using stealth or open firepower in battle. In typical GR fashion, you'll also get access to a variety of war-time gadgets such as drones and be able to play the campaign with a couple of friends via ad-hoc.

The Wii game, simply called Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon like the original title from 2001, takes place in Moscow. Two Ghosts, Hibbard and Booth, will be the movers and shakers in a title that seems to be wholly focused around pushing past hostiles on the way to a "target."

As you might have guessed, the game will have a prominent co-op component, but there's a catch: it's two third-person players per screen, implying that the second player will have a more auxiliary role as opposed to an active one. It's also possible, judging from the trailer below and the fact that Ubisoft threw out the word "casual" when describing the game, that it's entirely on-rails. What is confirmed, at least, is that GR will feature 12 missions and a leaderboard-oriented Arcade mode.
