    Overview

Basic Math is just that: a rather bare-bones application that tasks users with math problems. Like many Atari 2600 games, players can choose between several modes that adjust the gameplay; in this case the modes consist of different calculations.

Basic Math was a launch title for the 2600 in 1977. Like Math Gran Prix years later, this was an attempt by Atari to show that video games could be educational as well as fun.
