Windows, Xbox 360 and PS3 are the only supported platforms.

If you mean running it in windows on a mac (parallels, etc), I would say it probably won't work well if at all.

Don't get your hopes up, the game is built around Direct X 10/11.

Install Boot Camp and play it that way. OS X sucks for gaming anyway, the performance is far better playing games under Windows. StarCraft II and Civ V are especially poor on Mac. (I own both a gaming PC and a Mac)

Edit: Oh unless you have a graphics card that supports Direct X 10/11 you are kind of screwed even with the Boot Camp option

Yep as much as I love my OSX and think Windows sucks cock, games certainly do run better on a PC because of Windows and the Direct X goodness. I have Windows running under boot camp also, only for playing games.

Don't hold your breath on a Mac version. If you want to play a battlefield game on your mac, get 1942. I would say get 2142, but it is supposed to be a shitty port.

You might get away with something via Bootcamp, depending on the card in your particular mac, but I wouldn't count on it. I definitely wouldn't count on EA supporting Battlefield 3 on Mac, either. I only recall them releasing one title for it (2142) and they didn't even bother porting the expansions for that to the Mac.

I'm sure MAC have come a long way since the Apple II Plus but I doubt they're going to have a game like BF3 running of their system anytime soon.
