Call of Duty never had tacked-on single player modes. Nor did Bad Company 2, really. So I'm not sure I totally understand why this game gets a pass. But whatever.

I loved BFBC2 and I just started the campaign in BF3 and absolutely hate it! It is so bland, boring, and frustrating.

Yes. Thank you! I agree the MP is awesome but that shouldn't excuse the SP.

From the hour that I have played it seems there are many unlocks. For the weapons as well as the vehicles.

Almost all single players are tacked on for the multiplayer. I haven't even played the Battlefield 3 single player for 1 second yet, I haven't finished Bad Company 2's multiplayer and it took me a month or two to finish the 5-6 hour campaign on Black Ops. BTW while I did enjoy the campaign on COD4 I have felt that most of the others have kind of mediocre and short at best.

Could've went to redbox, payed 2 dollars, and got your fill. Granted, you'll have to put up with the ps3 version, but....to save 58$, I'd say mission accomplished

had no expectations for this and call of duty, i really didnt like modern warfare 2 so if this aiming to beat that its not ..that..hard

Heh, Battlefield campaign. It looses a star for it, but nobody should come to battlefield for the "robust single player experience".
