Short term fun from the campaign and long term mutiplayer antics ensure this trip to the Battlefield is one worth taking 0

Battlefield 4 REVIEWBy Tyler PedersonAfter entering the realm of Modern Combat, two adventures following the Bad Company team, and a third numerical installment, all landing in the seventh console generation, Battlefield 4 arrives for both the current and next generation consoles, and intends to set the bar for the modern FPS. One can certainly say that the line that divides Call of Duty and Battlefield has become increasingly blurred, especially so with the latest installments in their respect...

Battlefield 4 PC Review. 0

Is Battlefield 4 simply Battlefield 3 with a new coat of paint? At first sight the answer might appear to be yes, yet in this latest iteration of DICE's ever popular combined arms multiplayer shooter, it's obvious that the Swedish developer have gone with the well trusted belief that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's not to say Battlefield 4 is without innovation, it's just many of these noticeable changes are small when compared with the bigger picture. There's still explosions a-plenty, t...

Save your money for something better 0

Poorly designed game with few maps and many bugs. Netcode in the game causes all kinds of problems. And EA/Dice are doing what feels like nothing to stop the huge number of players using cheats. Instead they concentrate on trying to sell you tons of DLC that should of come with the game. its all gimme gimme gimme and no support for bugs or anti-cheats....

Battlefield 4: The Campaign Review 0

Before we get into it, I have a confession to make. I've never played a Battlefield campaign before. The world class multiplayer kept me busy, and fighting against AI in Hollywood-esque set pieces never really appealed to me. I knew there'd be some "whoa!" moments similar to those experienced in my previous Call of Duty excursions, but it wasn't until I heard that campaign completion led to weapon unlocks did I decide it was time to make the jump. After all, the P90 is a slick weapon. And you ca...

Like COD: Ghosts, BF 4 isn't innovative, but it's fun. 0

The modern day shooter peaked six years ago with the release of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare". Since then, military-themed FPS games have bombarded the market. They are all virtually the same in content. All offer the same basic multiplayer rules and all contain a story mode featuring the usual Hollywood action clichés. This latest "Battlefield" doesn't break that trend. In fact, it could be called "Battlefield 3.5" since it feels like an expansion pack to its 2011 predecessor. But des...

Die a hero or live long enough to see a glitch 0

The Battlefield series has always been about the spectacle and sheer scale of warfare that the 20th and 21st century can provide. From planes, tanks,s and automobiles in 1942 to Jets, choppers, and better tanks in Battlefields 2 and 3 the name of the game is action. If large scale action is what you want then action is what you get, just be patient.I decided to hold off on a review for the game because I wanted some online issues to resolve and also to see if the game could hold my attention af...

Another quality launch of a Battlefield game. 0

My most anticipated launch title for the PlayStation 4 was Battlefield 4. And now that it’s out, I want to return it and get something less broken. This is a review for the game before the patch but I felt I needed to get a warning out for excited Battlefield fans: this game rarely works currently. I’m not just talking about the multiplayer either. The single player is bugged as well. If you happen to crash (which you probably will), you’ll be treated with a nice message about your save file...
