I never really got into Bad Company 1, it seemed boring. A few of my coworkers told me this is way better, and I've gotten tired of MW2. I was wondering if I should buy, rent, or just avoid this game.

Surely there's enough info available (on this very site, even) for you to make up your own mind?

You will not get an unbiased opinion about the game. Fanboys will tell you to buy it. The game is too slow paced for my tastes. It is not a bad game by any means but I prefer something that is faster paced. One thing though, they improved the junky feeling that the controls had in BC1.

if u like fps games, if you liked mw2, and if you like the majestic mutliplayer that Battlefield always manages to deliver, then YES.

This game is much better when compared to Bad Company 1. The pacing is much better, much smarter map design, and rush is much more fun this time around. Conquest is equally as good.

I didn't like the multiplayer in the original Bad Company. At first I didn't really like this one either, but after a few nights of playing Squad Deathmatch with my friends I really got a feel for the game and love it. The single player is also really fun.

Buy it for the multiplayer, don't buy it if your only gonna play single player.
