i would probably think to myself "boy, what a stupid ending for an otherwise exquisite game." and then move on with my life.

Try L R L R L L R R A when selecting a track and you'll get special cup incl. raind'oh road.

I wish I could say I would be very surprised but with that game I'm not so sure.
