They seem to do this layout for select big games.

Aside from the ads of course the IGN redesign looks way better than it was imo. I rarely ever go to Gametrailers but their redesign sucks bad.

Because if you play with assholes, they run around taking everything for themselves. Not a problem if you play with friends, but individually instanced loot alá Diablo 3 would still have been nice.

First point - IGN looks worse than ever. Is that 52 point font for the us vision damaged gamers?

Secondly, why oh why do these links appear on Giant Bomb. This isn't GameTab, it's not a dumping ground for links. Go talk about it on the Teh Vestibule.

Still wished this game had armor, helmets etc. So my Sniper looks different than the other million snipers.

@Funkydupe: I hate these threads. IGN doesn't deserve to get their exclusive review bullshit promoted. IGN is basically an extension of publisher's PR departments and it is sad to see that not everyone has realized that by now.

Actually, it's a warning sign. With an exclusive review, they most likely have a scale from 8.5-10 to work with.

I don't bother to carry around that type of dislike for a video game site. A review is one man's opinion.

To be fair, at 9.0, it's supposed to be pretty difficult to find large faults - unless the rest of the game is so amazing that it can carry a crippling flaw - so I don't find that objectional? And they needed to write something as a negative. Was that or "buggy", I suppose?

Then again, I think numbers on reviews are unneccesary voodoo, so what do I know?

I realize that people don't like IGN (personally, I don't really care either way), but, without playing the game, this seems like a fair (video) review, which brings up some flaws, but largely gushes on what they seem to think is a great review?

That's a lot of question marks, but I am a bit confused. :P

If people want to read the IGN review they will go to IGN. We don't need threads made for every time a different website posts a review. Unless you have something new or meaningful to add to the discussion regarding the review, it's just spam.
