I don't have the DLC yet, but can you cheat the level-scaling system? I heard Jeff Gerstmann talking about Mad Moxxi, and getting S-Ranks and what not. He said that he would hook up a second controller and have a lower level character just be there with his level 50 character to bring down the enemies levels. Any tips?

That is the easiest way, just have a lower lvl character sit there but you'll have to beat the normal game first.

If you're going to have a second controller plugged in to go through it with you make sure that they are hosting the game. The enemies scale to the host. As for tips just make sure that if things are getting rough to just get the hell away and recover and pray. Pray a lot.

I did the split screen cheat and I'm never touching this dlc, did it just to get my 100% trophy status again.
I had a level 16-17 character hosting the game for my lvl 50 soldier

Does anyone know if the enemies cap at 50??  That is, if you go in with a level 61 character, will it be easier or are the enemies near level 61 as well??

Have a lvl 1-7 character host your split screen game. Make sure your character is lvl 50 or above. The final rounds of the Larger Tournys are actually tough even when they are only around lvl 6-10 and you're lvl 50. The small tournys take about an hour each (There are 3), the Large Tournys take about 3 hours each (3 also). It's not worth it unless you want to S rank the entire game.

Assuming you've already got the answer to your question since I don't have one. I'm just going to go ahead and say that someday, I'm going to make Mad Moxxi my bitch.

To revive a dead topic, if you do the split-screen deal, you're just letting the weak character die constantly, end up in the "penalty box" and going from there, correct? You don't have to worry about keeping that dude alive at all?

Just an added note, the minimum level of enemies is level 12.  So doesn't matter if you do it with a character that is level 1 or 12.
