I don't know about customization, but I'm pretty sure those characters each represent a different class. I hope you get to customize and change your name.

You dont.t The characters will look like those that we have all seen . Mordecai, Roland, Lilith, and Brick. Also, what is this in PS3 forum for..?

Its not that type of that though at all..and if it had the option it would be underwhelming for what you are thinking about. These character all have their own specific skill trees and specializations because of who they are. You wouldnt be able to have that with a created character.
