Im just wondering if you duders pre-ordered black ops 2, where you pre-ordered it, and what version you pre-ordered (regular, hardened, care package, or digital deluxe)

Im pre-ordering the hardened version tomorrow.

I did, then I canceled and got Halo 4. That's not meant as a "I hate CoD, Halo is better" statement it's just what happened. I'll probably end up picking it up in December or January.

I have the DD edition pre-loaded on Steam. Looking forward to release.

I did a week or so ago, then cancelled it when i realised £45 for a retail game is crazy and put it towards a £400 Wii U Bundle i may or may not ever use.

I thought this was going to be about how some people who pre-ordered Black Ops 2 from Amazon have already started to recieve it (including the WiiU version - have fun playing that)

Yeah, I did. Pre-ordered online from Future Shop because of a $20 discount. I had it pre-ordered prior to getting the discount code anyways since I want the game day 1.

Pre-ordered the regular edition from Amazon a few days ago. I thought I was going to skip this one since I just upped to Premium in BF3 and got Halo, but COD is just a good time and I couldn't resist.

Yep, in October, reg. edition, Amazon. Comes with NT2025, wallpaper, some other misc.stuff, and some Kindle app and a link for a book/story about the villain in the game. Weird.

i would have gotten the care package edition if i had the disposable income.

I just went to Best Buy a few hours ago after confirming with a friend that we'll be going all in on the zombie mode. Sorry Amazon, but taxes and no gift card is a no go.

I'll Redbox this about a week or two after release and blow through the campaign in one sitting. I normally don't rent games but shooters whose multiplayer modes I have no intention of committing to are a great use of Redbox. Two dollars per night!

I'll be waiting for the quick look. What I've read seems interesting but I have yet to see compelling gameplay and after getting burned out on MW3 it's going to have to look quite good to get me to buy it.

no. im most likely going to buy it but i never pre-order the only game that comes to mind is guild wars 2 and the only reason i pre-ordered it was so i could start the games a few days before it was released and get some useless stuff. you could start on the 25 instead of the 28 and i pre-ordered it on the 25 and got in right away with all the benefits so you cant really say that it counts

Yeah. I've not been a member for all that long, but it's already been worth it with the discount for Black Ops II. It sucks that tomorrow is a holiday for Canada Post, though.

When making an account there for the first time, you need to go through some weird trials to access the actual site. It's basically a website where you answer video game trivia, fulfill certain video game achievements and other stuff to gain experience points and level up your account (and gain "lives"). Depending on your level, you can gain access to "Perks", which are usually game discounts such as recently $20 off of Halo 4, Black Ops 2 and Black Ops: Declassified. All of those perks are reserved for Canadians only.
