In The Guild Wars Series

In Guild Wars players are able to acquire candy canes during the annual Christmas celebrations. Players can get them a number of ways including, random drops from killing monsters, quest rewards, or from opening Wintersday Gifts. Candy Canes are considered consumables and when used Candy Canes affect the player or parties Moral/Death Penalty Percentage. Different types of Candy Canes vary in their effect on Moral/Death Penalty. For example the Red Candy Cane removes All Death Penalty, while the Green Candy Cane removes 15% Death Penalty.
