Oh Choplifter HD... Bad shooting, time limits, boring levels, no personality of design whatsoever, and fricking zombies on top of that. Locked at 30fps. If there was a way they could fuck this game up, they exploited that opportunity to its fullest.

This game is a layer cake with a fundamentally fun design at the bottom, and a series of craps taken on top of it. Two thumbs down.

From the quick look it looked kind of fun at first. But yeah, it seems really shallow and that whole zombie thing looked pretty bad I must say.

Because one game was bad, we should punish the publisher/developer with an absolute embargo? Quite a leap in logic. It's not like it's actively offensive.

I feel bad about Choplifter HD, because I actually talked to the devs about their whole development process during PAX 2011. They were demoing their game right next to the guys who did Crimson Steam Pirates, and they were a very small group. It just seems like the worst case of wrong publisher, wrong price point. Maybe they would have done better simply self-publishing their game, and dropping the price to $10? Who knows at this point.

Thought you were going to say they had released a statement today supporting certain pieces of legislation or Rupert Murdoch or somesuch.

This is not inXile's first game :P Bard's Tale and Hunted were both shit. This was strike 3.

This game has fundamental design issues. Even at half the price I'd be upset.
