Copperhead Missiles only appear in Sector Z where the Star Fox Team is ambushed by the forces of Andross. A total of six missiles will appear in three waves. The first wave has one, the second wave has two, and the third wave has three. Once they drop out of warp they will head directly toward the Great Fox. Copperheads are heavily armored space cruise missiles and soak up a lot of damage from laser fire and smart bombs. They have no attacks, but each wave is accompanied by fighters that escort them to their destination. If even one missile makes contact with the Great Fox the mission will end and players will be forced to head to Bolse.
