The layout of the Lylat System in different Star Fox games has never remained consistent; as is evident in the pictures.

    In

    Star Fox,

the planets in the Lylat System include:

    • Corneria
    • Titania
    • Fortuna
    • Macbeth
    • Venom

    As well as outer-space levels:

    • Sector X
    • Sector Y
    • Sector Z

As well as certain specialized levels:

    • Asteroid [Belt]
    • Asteroid [Belt, different layout]
    • Meteor
    • Black Hole

    In

    Star Fox 64

, the planets in the Lylat System consist of:

    As well as outer-space levels:

From this list we can see that there are several recurring levels:

    • Corneria
    • Titania
    • Macbeth
    • Venom
    • Sector X
    • Sector Y
    • Sector Z

Only one level was left out of Star Fox 64 that appeared in the Lylat System in Star Fox;  Fortuna. All the specialized levels were left out as well, and many more were added to the game.
