    A survival horror adventure game that tells the story of a group of students trapped in a haunted elementary school. Originally released for the PC-98 in Japan back in 1996, it was not released in the Western world until 2011.

    Is this based on the hentai by the same name?

    It's not based on the 'hentai' (the manga isn't hentai: there is no explicit sex), the 'hentai' was based on the visual novel, which was originally made with RPGMaker and then later ported to PSP and given an all-star voice cast.
