Crackdown 2 is the sequel to the popular open-world supercop game. Players return to Pacific City, where rampaging mutants and resistance groups vie for control of the streets. The sequel adds four-player co-op along with competitive multiplayer.
I was kind of upset when i saw the 30 min time limit. but i started playing the demo, played for 15 min and had to turn it off. i came back about an hour later and started the demo up again and had 30 min on the timer again.
There's not really any other way to do it with an open world game, because if you weren't bound by a timer, then there'd be no reason to buy the full game.

That statement is like, always wrong.
Example: People said that about Just Cause 2, you could glitch the timer and play for as long as you wanted. Why was the statement wrong? The developers had literally cut out an area from the main game, and the rest was placeholder. There were no cities or towns beyond the demo area, and there was only one mission. There were like, 16 vehicles and three helicopters (one plane) and only a few weapons. There was about ten or so yards of water. Full game: 49 side missions, 7 main, 104 vehicles, however many weapons (12? More with the dlc packs), entire map populated and open, tons of collectibles.
There's only so much you can do without a proper mission structure.
Plus, aren't full games normally about 8+ GB? If a demo's only 1GB, then there has to be quite a lot of stuff not included.
Anyway, I'm sure someone will find a way to glitch out the timer for this. I need to go download the demo and play it, I loved the first Crackdown.
@Capum15: 1GB is actually more than the actual game will be. The demo for Bioshock 1 was 1GB and the actual game was much, much less. Same for a few other demos.

Umm...no. Bioshock is 6GB. If you really think games are that small...ugh.
