    Still Fun, But Bad Game.

The first crackdown game was a big sucess. Its fun and adaptable game play kept people coming back for more, and it maybe the only game ever to make me happy while hunting for items ie, orbs.  Once again in crackdown 2 orb hunting will be the majourity of your experience, with agility orbs that annoyinly run away from you, orbs for driving skill that you get from running people over, winning races and doing stunts. Over all there are around 1000 different things for you to collect within this game and for some people thats great, but for me and im sure the majority of other gamers we dont have the time to spend hunting down all these orbs. Crackdown 2 is very similar to its predecessor  there are a few notable tweaks such as a echo ping feature that will tell you if a orb is nearby, cars are unlocked instead of just having one transforming vehicle, and melee combat has a few extra combos. However a few things must be said about the general quality of the game, because to me it seems that ruffian games have just hashed this up and relesed it, no care has gone into presentation. For starters, this is the same city that everybody already explored in Crackdown 1. It's gone through a few changes and much of the roads and buildings are in disrepair, but it's the same place! That's not the worst part, though. The worst parts are the atrocious textures, effects and attention to detail. Crackdown 2 often looks like a standard definition game blown up onto an HD screen. The graphics are blurry, lacking in detail, and underwhelming. The agents you play as look dull, have no personality, and don't offer any evolution or good customization. The explosions, though they may be big and easily link together into something massive, don't pack any punch. And though Crackdown 2 can toss dozens of freaks on screen at once for a massive battle, it oftentimes can't keep up with the action and the framerate stutters. Like much of the rest of Crackdown 2, the work here feels rushed. In conclusion if you enjoyed crackdown 1 and want to play it again with a few tweaks then this is your game. But frankly in this stage of our gaming generation such shoddy quality is unforgivable if the collecting of orbs wasnt so addictive every copy of this game would have been burnt as soon as it went gold.

Here we go again!Welcome back to the streets of Pacific City. Alot has changed since you've been gone, but you still get that familiar feeling. 10 years have gone by and you are once again in the shoes of an Agent. You have been cloned by the Agency in order to fight the new threats that have risen. The Cell is a terrorist group that is slowly taking over Pacific City to battle the Agency, while the Freaks are leftovers from  Dr. Balthazar Czernenko's experiments from the first game. And...

Welcome back Agent. Crackdown 2 follows in the footsteps of it's predecessor so well, that it's sometimes difficult to remember that you're playing a new game. That's not to say that Crackdown 2 isn't a good game, but if ever a game personified the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," statement, Crackdown 2 is it. With the crux of open world superpower games released since the original (see: Infamous, Prototype), Crackdown 2 had an opportunity to be a game changer. Alas, that ball, unlike the...
