Just watched an old Metal Gear Scanlon (Ep 06, volume I) and Dan said that he's woken up to a James Brown song for the last four years.

Dan is like an adult child.

I'd never heard of Dan before he joined Giant Bomb and he is without a doubt one of my favourite people.

I came here just to make sure that was shared with anyone that missed it, Dan is a great guy, I'd love to have a beer or five with him, but some of the ignorance that falls out of his mouth makes me light-headed at times, and I know its intentional, I do something similar if it means getting a laugh out of someone...but man that made me do a double take...Don't change Dan(in case you ever read this)

I dont really think that Dan is saying stuff just to get a rise out of people (meaning that I dont think that he is doing a Andy Kaufman routine). Dan and his Dad have a lot in common. They both seem to be pretty set in their ways and they know what stuff they like and what stuff they dont like. Just watch videos where Dan´s dad plays video games.

Dan seems to me to be a bit inflexible when it comes to adjusting his opinion about certain stuff. For example the great thing with Patrick Klepek was that he actively started playing games that werent in his comfort zone. Dan doesnt seem to be that keen in doing that.

Time will show if he will become a bit more flexible in his views.
