I got home, installed the game. Installed the update. I went to start playing the game and it keeps giving me a message that it can't connect to the servers. Really want to play but I don't really want to play offline. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, the issue started for me about 2 hours ago. They are aware of the problem and said it had something to do with Xbox Live. Everything had been smooth sailing for me since the midnight launch.

Same here. I did the tutorial and messed around a bit, but don't want to venture any further without online functionality.

Yeah. DS2 servers on Xbox360 are still down. (They were running good earlier this afternoon; so many bloodstains...) DS1 servers work fine, though. I'm gonna sleep it off and try again tomorrow morning.

Or you could just play it in Offline Mode. Say what you will about the performance of the DS2 servers, but at least the game doesn't need to connect to them to play.

Still not able to connect on 360. Are they STILL down? Or were they up then back down again?
