    Dead Rising 2 is a third-person action-adventure survival horror game that takes place five years after the end of the original Dead Rising, moving its zombie apocalypse setting into the glamorous Fortune City.

    I haven't played the game yet, but if it's anything like Dead Rising 1 - yeah, that's where you're gonna be taking them :)
     
    ...tho DR1 did have a secret passage, I wonder if this game does too?

    Yea it has, I think it was located in a beauty parlor.

    Yes, there is a short cut you can obtain I think at some point in Day 2. ;)

    Nope. You had to take all of them to the vent that leads to the security room. There were a lot of ways to get from one part of the mall to another, if that's what you mean. i.e. to get to Wonderland Plaza from Paradise Plaza, you could cut through the park, go through the Entrance Plaza, Al Fresca Plaza, and the Food Court, or go through the mirror in the bathroom. But with every survivor you had to go through Paradise Plaza to the Warehouse, from the Warehouse to the Roof, and then through the ducts into the security room.

    One shortcut I know of takes you from the Pallisades Mall area in the bottom right straight back to the restroom near the safehouse in the top left. There might be others. Anyway though it is still annoying, there's been more than a few instances now where I've had to run as fast as possible to get back to the safehouse for a mission and just barely managed to arrive on time.

    nope only one place you can go and it can be a long treck back when your carrying a survivor while trying to cross the Silver Strip. There is a secret passage inside a changing booth in the Palissades Mall that you unlock after completing the Withering Flower side quest.

    yeah liek people above said thats your one safe house, after playin for awhile it isnt so bad tho long survivor walks of course happen. They are 4 shortcuts through out the game to at different spots
