I never expected the multiplayer to be much good. Some games just don't need it EA.
 
The single player on the other hand looks fantastic. I still need to play the first Dead Space before getting around to this one though.

Good to hear that about the multiplayer. Maybe they'll ditch it next time

Oh man, why'd they have to taint the goodness of Dead Space with multiplayer.
 
EDIT: But damn did that look fine, I'm gonna pick this up sometime soon. Not a fan of IGN's standards, though.

I am so pumped for this game. Not long now to play it. Personally I don't care one way or the other about the multiplayers quality because I was never going to touch it anyway. As long as the main story line stands up.

I always thought it was based on the video content and he's linked a review does that still count as spam?  Honest question.  (And if it is, how is this more of a spam topic than, "Are you a mouth breather?" just sayin')   Also having now watched the video, the gameplay looks too similar to the first and I got bored with that by the end of the first. i just got dead space the original on steam for 6 bucks so I'm looking forward to playing it, I get freaked out fairly easily, course i said that when i started playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and now its like playing any other game. so hopefully its the same with Dead space.

Im happy to see a 9.0 for a sequel im pretty stoked to getting it now! But ive also got mass effect2, oblivion, fear2, uncharted, fallout3 dlc's, fallout new vegas, arkham asylum, alan wake, bioshock1-2 to beat. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Can't wait for my collector's edition to come in on tuesday!!!!!

Looks like I'll be getting this, only dissapointment is that it's linear. I liked exploring the bigger areas in Dead Space 1.

Not really excited for the multiplayer stuff anyway, but it is good to hear that single player is solid. I dug the demo and I cannot wait for this to come to PC. 
 
I also don't really mind it seems to be the cool thing nowadays to throw a mp mode in there for shits and giggles. Sometimes it works like Assassin's Creed and we get to experience this new gameplay. Unfortunately it looks like it just didn't quite work for Dead Space. Actually, I just keep thinking about how awesome a co-op Mass Effect game would be.

Sounds alright, but I still have to finish the original so...not quite yet.
