For the past couple of days I've been playing through the 2008 release, Dead Space. It has been sitting on my shelf for about a year now and i only attempted to play through it a couple of times. Now I'm about half way through the game, and I honestly regret not playing through it before.

The way the game never takes you out of the action is amazing, and done exceptionally well. Changing Objectives, Checking Inventory and Reading Text Logs is all displayed infront of you, in real time.
The game even looks amazing, for a 2008 game, now being played in 2010, it holds up well.
The controls for the game are simple enough, as most shooter games are. Left Bumper aims, Right Bumper shoots, see, simple.

My reason for playing Dead Space now is that Dead Space 2 is released in early 2011.

P.S. To anyone that hasn't played Dead Space, I highly recommend it.

'Tis a great game. I highly recommend Dead Space: Extraction if you own a Wii and want to learn more about the Dead Space universe^^
