You have to open it with a small screwdriver it should be on the handle of the gun.
You need two AAA batteries, after that you can click the "fire" button and it will have 3 green (why not blue?) light from the point of the gun and a light from top of the gun.

It doesn't come with batteries (AAA by the way). After installing them and screwing the lid on, just pull the trigger. Easy Peasy.
