Dead Space 2 is the sequel to the 2008 surprise hit Dead Space. The no-longer-silent Isaac Clarke finds himself trapped on a city-sized space station called the Sprawl, which has been overtaken by another Necromorph infestation.
Pretty amazing how bumping up the resolution from 480p to 720p and running it at a solid 60fps can make such a difference. Definitely looking forward into breaking this out and play a bit maybe even before I dive into Dead Space 2.
Never played the Wii version, so I'm kind of stoked to basically get 2 Dead Space games on the same disc.
I hope they port the awesome reload mechanic over to the Move version. Everything else would just be a shame.
Anyway, yeah, it's good to know that, finally, people are going to appreciate the awesomeness that is DS: Extraction. In fact I liked it more than what I have played of Dead Space 2 so far.
Edit: Seen the video and can't really say the difference is THAT astounding. Many Dolphin-emulated Wii games up the ante more when suddenly put to HD resolutions. DS: Extraction was just a very pretty game to begin with. But yeah, 60fps is, of course, very welcome.
I have to wear my glasses/contacts when I play HD games or EVERYTHING looks like the Wii side of that screen. Anyways... I am still too scared to buy this! MOMMY! *sucks thumb*
