Anyhow, I was promised this game about half a year ago with Alpha Protocol so I'll keep my expectations midrange. Especially after hearing that VO.

I'm losing confidence with every video I see.

I don't know what all the hullabaloo is about, it looks like a cross between Arkham's detective vision and Crysis 2's waypoints.

I love gameplay. it looks bad ass. I will finish it 30 times just like ME 2. so excited about this.

The first 15 minutes of the game are you touring an office building while people talk about crazy crap and politics in between you hacking their email and exploring women's toilets, which other people will comment on.  So yeah, this is Deus Ex.  It may be "consolized" (in other words have better controls and gameplay) but trust me none of the originals depth or feel is lost, in fact it is improved upon.

This was posted some time ago. Metallic seems to have mellowed out a bit since then. :)
