Human Revolution is the third game in the Deus Ex series, a prequel where players take control of augmented security officer Adam Jensen, and investigate attacks against Sarif Industries, a leader in augmentation technology.
Screw this propaganda. I'm all for transhumanism and Purity First's making it look like it's the worst thing ever. Sure, that thing about taking the expensive drugs or your body's going to reject your augmentations kinda sucks, but this crap about "staying human" is hilarious. Purity First are just a bunch of very violent idiots who cling to humanity.
This is also a neatly done "trailer" of sorts. Check out the site mentioned at the end of it which also has a flash game and other stuff.
I'm never too big a fan of these live action trailers, especially those for games set in the future. They usually look more blue screen than believable, and being handled so hamfistedly only breaks down the "immersive" insight to the futuristic world effect even more. This one I guess is alright, but the lack of "black gold" visual style of the game proper really really derails the kind of crazy blade runner future imagery the game is trying to sell.
@FluxWaveZ: Yeah, all of this "Getting badass robot arms or replacing your injured limbs with sweet high-tech awesomeness will make you a soulless monster" stuff is pretty tiring.
