    Devil May Cry 4

Game » consists of 21 releases. Released Jan 31, 2008

The fourth game in the popular Capcom action franchise, Devil May Cry. Take on the role of new playable character Nero, as he uses his swanky demon arm to beat the hell out of a demon invasion in the castle town of Fortuna.

So, DMC4 or Ninja Gaiden II, which is harder on easy mode?

I've finished Ninja Gaiden II on its easiest difficulty, and I was just wondering if I'll have more or less trouble with Devil May Cry 4 on it's easiest difficulty setting.  If you've played both, which would you say is the harder game on easy mode?

While I'm not looking for absolutely no challenge--even on easy, NG II is hardly a walk in the park--I do hate when I buy games that are so brutal that I can't even get halfway through without wanting to slap the game's programers.  I'd even be happy to run through NG II on the next level difficulty, if it wasn't for a few issues that really bugged me about that game.

    Anyhow though, which is harder?

Devil May Cry is not a hard game by any stretch of the imagination.

Edit: To clarify, you will probably find Hard on DMC4 easier than easy on NG2.

Very glad to hear that.  For me, it will likely mean multiple playthroughs on various difficulties. Normally I'd just start on hard and turn it down to easy if it felt too hard, but I read a review that said you couldn't do that in DMC4.  Anyhow, thanks. :)

Devil May cry is the better game, mostly because it simply isnt as cheap as Ninja Gaiden 2 and is easy to get through without having to keep repeating the same section over and over and over and over due to cheap enimes...

DMC 4 is way more polished than NG II

devil may cry has always been the easier out of the two series though
