I've been tuning out the Dota streams on this site for a while, and could somebody explain to me why Brad's team is called League of Legends? are they actually affiliated with Riot/ LoL in any way?

@alucitary: fairly sure it's just a joke. There's no riot affiliation that I'm aware of

@quid_pro_bono: Seriously? Then why are they using the actual League of Legends logo? Seems like a bit much.

It's a joke. They talked about doing it before; a long time ago.

They're doing it because it's funny to call a Dota 2 team "League of Legends".

It's a joke name, it made me chuckle. Not sure we could go very in depth discussing the name so I'll lock this thread.
