Ive got two weeks off for easter break before i have to go back to university for 2 months, and im torn between this and Final Fantasy 13. Is it possible to complete this game (including a few side quests etc.) in a two week time frame?

Yes. You can finish Dragon Age Origins in 20-30 hours.

I beat the game in two weeks on my second playthrough, so technically it's definitely possible, but it depends on a number of different factors i.e. how much time you spend to do sidequests, how many codex pages you read, whether or not you skip dialogue, all that stuff. I think you'll probably have an easier time playing through Dragon Age in that much time than FF13, because that game is such a slow burn, whereas Dragon Age hooks you in much more quickly.

This may be possible, but all my playthroughs were at least 50 hours, I think if you're not up to 40 you're probably not getting all you can out of the game.

If you play for a few hours a day, probably so. But don't expect to see close to everything in the game.

I'm about 24 hours into my play through, and I still feel like I have a ton of the game to see.

    Agreed.

I think you're unlikely to get much change out of 40 or 50 hours on your first playthrough.  I doubt FF13 is a lot different.  Still plenty of time in two weeks, so long as you have absolutely nothing else at all you need to be doing.
