My PC is kind of old but i can run some games on it. It's has a geforce 8600 GT, a AMD 3500+ at 2.2Ghz and only 1gb of ram and I run XP professional. It's not great but i can run Borderlands with not too many hiccups (everything is not on max). Will I be able to run this or should I just get it for the 360?
PS. I cant upgrade right now because I just bought a new bass guitar.

Your GPU and CPU are okay, but your RAM is far too little. In fact pathologically little. I'm surprised you can even get on the internet. For modern games you'll want at least 4GB RAM. If I were you I'd just get it on the 360, unless you plan to upgrade your RAM.

RAM is also really cheap, you can get like 4 gigs for less than 40 dollars.

Yeah I definitely agree, your PC isnt completely terrible or anything, get some RAM and you should be alright. Even with the amount you have right now though, you could run it, but far better of course with more ram, and on better settings.

If you have Vista, you might have issues with the ram.  Can't vista only seen a certain amount of ram even if you have more?  I upgraded to 4 and I believe it only see's 3.  Haven't done it in a while though so I'm not sure, but I think that's the rule of thumb.

That's any 32bit OS, not vista or 7 or XP.

You want a 64bit Operating System.

Ah, right.  Thanks for clarification.  That makes sense, I have a 32bit.
