You can play Duke 3D in HD resolution. 2 steps: 
 
1) buy the game from Good Old Games

2) download and install Eduke32 
http://eduke32.com/ 
EDuke32 runs at crazy resolutions like 3072x2304

I feel like this is such an easy thing to state: But it sure looks more interesting than what's been released. 
I really enjoyed Duke Nukem 3D. I've seen this before, but given the reaction to the new game, this might give me motivation to probably check this out myself.

Anyway, while this looks really cool, I think it removes some of the charm when you make sprite-based games polygonal like this, but that's just me.

Tbh I prefer the original look. The lighting and the shadows of the new one just make it looks like a cheap FPS from 2002.
