    Where to start ?

It was meant to be the game we were waiting for, the game we deserved. Duke was to return and triumphantly reclaim his throne as the king of games.

Well let’s not jump the gun on that one. After a long 12 year wait for the much anticipated and hyped sequel the game lacks in a lot of aspects you would except such an epic development to provide.

The game would look at home amongst many of your favourite PS2 games with it’s low budget graphics and clunky controls it would be a miss even alongside it’s PSOne predecessors aside from it’s graphics. The game is just a medley of ideas they thought would be cool to couple alongside gamings bad boy, such as a titty bar and many duke funded malarky.

As for game play the game is as short as it can be, no replay value at all aside from the few achievements you might have missed along the way. There are a lot of familiar characters with some redesigns but on the whole there is nothing new that he has brought to the table, we waited 12 years for his arrival at the gaming party and all he brought was a 6 pack and some doritos.

After you pry your way through all the bull shit ego boosting dribble that falls out of Dukes mouth you are left with a hollow game with very little substance or ingenuity.

The one saving grace is the comedy of the game. It homages to other games as well as there slandering seems overly offensive when it comes from such and abysmal games. Not only does it make Duke look like a tool but it reminds you of the games you could be playing.

    “Power armour is for pussies”

Well if that’s how you put it I’m missing my fucking jet pack and array of fascinating weapons. In fact i might just put on halo and enjoy some new levels as well as a revamped control system instead of wading through the shit to replay a far too familiar remake.

if you find it for cheap and are an avid fan of the Dukester fire in but if not skip it and save your time and money.

I'm sure there's a joke about size not mattering I'm missing here. Duke Nukem Forever is finally out. That is a statement that most gamers thought they would never hear. After being stuck in development limbo for 14 years, becoming a running joke in the gaming world, and even being cancelled at one point, the long awaited sequel to Duke Nukem 3D is available on store shelves thanks to Gearbox Software picking up the reins from former developer 3D Relams. Unfortunately, the tale of the game’s bi...

      Well, it's a game. 0

Duke Nukem Forever excels at one specific thing: Making the act of alien genocide fun as hell. All of the weapons have a great feel to them, and even the starting pistol packs a punch. Unfortunately, Duke Nukem Forever really wants you to do things other than shoot aliens, and that's it's biggest downfall.  12 years after the events of Duke Nukem 3D, Duke is now a mega-celebrity. Girls want him, guys want to be him. About 5 minutes after pressing start, aliens invade earth, steal our chicks, and...
