Looking at the site is giving me the impression that the floodgates are slowly opening with all of the trailer releases. I know EA is starting a day earlier (today) but there's trailers coming from Square Enix and Warner Bros.

Is it too early to say RIP E3 because it's looking like publishers are openly not giving a shit anymore? I'm not exactly an E3 supporter because I don't care as much on when video game news happens but it's still a little weird (to me) to see announcements spill out so suddenly now.

I feel like this has been happening for a few years now. People don't like having their stuff leaked early (it always seems to around E3), so they put out trailers beforehand and then at the show talk about it more, show a longer trailer, or show gameplay. And then a few things get surprise announced, but usually that's stuff that is further away. I wouldn't look at that being indicative of the death of E3.
