Edy wants to be a pop star, and hates fellow Squad 7 member Rosie for "stealing" her limelight. Her sister, Anisette, appears in Valkyria Chronicles 2.

She is also the leader of her own small group of soldiers within Squad 7, known as "The Edy Detachment", consisting of: Lynn, Susie Evans, Homer Peron, Jann Walker, and Marina Wulfstan.

Having become one of Valkyria Chronicles' biggest fan-favorite characters, Edy has appeared in a number of crossover promotions, as well as appearing in every Valkyria Chronicles game since the first, alongside other members of the Edy Detachment.
