Elsa Lichtman is a character in L.A. Noire. She is a Jazz singer at the Blue Room Jazz Club. She is also Cole Phelps' love interest.

    Background

    • She escaped from Germany during World War II.
    • After coming to United States, the FBI locked her up on Ellis Island for four years. This is probably because authorities believed she was a spy or a saboteur for the Nazis.
    • Based on the L.A. Noire second trailer, she refers to people of authority as "fascists".
    • It is quite possible that she is of Jewish descent since she did flee from the Nazis during World War II. Also, her surname sounds typically Jewish. Another possible reason is she saw Germany being brought down by Hitler and fled to escape the fate of her countrymen.
