A bribe is the act of offering money or gifts to a person to gain influence or alter a decision.
The act of high-speed vehicular pursuit. Often this occurs in racing games or games where players must evade police.
To elude, escape, or get away from. Some games require players to escape from some people or things to perform some objective or avoid death.
A gang isn't just two crude dudes, it's a whole mess of them. There's all kinds of different gangs represented in games: street gangs, organized criminals, and even high school cliques.
The act of breaking the law.
Characters controlled by the game for players to interact with, as opposed to player characters which are controlled by whomever is playing the game.
Characters that are initially portrayed as evil, but eventually turn out to be good or not as serious of a threat. This also includes villains who remain evil the entire game, but contain some sense of moral goodness or ambiguity.
Criminals banded together with a common goal in mind. Can range from a band of thugs to the Mafia.
The American Mafia which originated in Sicily and took root in Eastern America around the 20th century. It is also known as Cosa Nostra meaning "Our Thing". The explosion of Mafia activities and power in America happened in 1920's and their power lasted well into the 1970's and 1980's.
An organized crime syndicate often consisting of members with shared ethnic backgrounds or cultural beliefs.
Just as heroes sometimes fall from grace, occasionally someone who works for the forces of evil will turn their life around and become a good guy.
