Erudites are a race in the EverQuest series. As humans evolved from barbarians, Erudites believe they are the next evolutionary step. Erudites are the most intelligent race of people in the world of Norrath.

A Half Elf is the offspring of a human and an elf. In many cases, they are discriminated against by both humans and elves, which guides them to a nomadic life as bards, druids, or rangers.
Halflings, also known as hobbits, average about three and a half feet tall. They have an innate affinity to nature and possess both the agility and dexterity to make great rogues. Halflings are generally good people, but also have a mischievous side that my infuriate others.
High Elves is a race in the fantasy genre. They are all good-natured, but are often considered rude or prudish by other races. High Elves are highly intelligent, but also wise, making them great magic users of all types.
Humans are bipedal, sapient primates capable of abstract reasoning, language, and emotions.
Iksar are a reptilian race in the EverQuest series. They are the most evil of all the races and are hated by even the Dark Elves, Ogres, and Trolls. In the original EverQuest, Iksar are the only race other than Humans who can become monks.

Piercing weapons are designed primarily for stabbing and puncturing to cause damage rather than slicing or cutting. Examples include knives, daggers, spears, lances, needles, shivs or improvised weapons such as ice picks.
In some games, total immersion is helped along by allowing players to purchase and customize their own housing.
Many games feature poison, but sometimes the art of creating poisons is an available trade skill to learn. Rogues generally excel in this profession.
