Exile II: Crystal Souls is a shareware top-down turn-based RPG developed and published by Spiderweb Software for Windows PCs and Macintosh computers on March 1996.

The second installment of the Exile trilogy and the direct sequel to Exile: Escape from the Pit, Crystal Souls takes place five years after a group of adventurers liberated the caverns of Exile from demons and assassinated the King of the Empire. When the Empire decides to do a full-scale invasion on Exile, a group of adventurers must find a way to expel the Empire while investigating mysterious energy barriers that hinder their defense.

New to the series is the Special Characteristics system, where players can opt to alter the amount of XP required for a character to level up to give that character advantages (such as more effective spells or improved dual-wielding) and disadvantages (such as inability to use magical items or complete pacifism).

The game later received a "v2.0" re-release, revamping the graphics to match its sequel, Exile III: Ruined World. Like the rest of the series, it was included in a 1998 compilation disc (Exile Trilogy CD) and was made freeware sometime in 2013. It also received two remakes under the Avernum series: the 2001 Avernum 2 and the 2015 Avernum 2: Crystal Souls.
