The 1-Up Heart is an extra life-granting item that appears in the Game Boy incarnation of the Mario series.
The chief source of extra lives in the Mario universe. It also shows up in other games as a cameo, such as a furniture piece in Animal Crossing.
The 3-Up Moon is a rare item in the Mario series that grants a player three extra lives at once.
Coins with Yoshi's face on them. In most games, collecting five of them gives an extra life.
The extra life is a golden macho version of Banjo, collecting one will give you an extra life. And it makes a cameo in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts as a golden statue.
