Overview
F1, known as Formula One in some North American versions of the game, is a racing game based on Formula 1. It was originally released on home computers in Europe before later seeing ports to Sega's Master System, Game Gear, and Genesis. Tiertex and The Kremlin are credited for additional work in some versions.
The game builds on mechanics first employed in developer Lankhor's earlier game Vroom and includes some rudimentary polygonal environments during races. While not officially licensed, it features twelve tracks seen in the 1993 season of Formula 1 as well as some of the team names.
