So far Gamespot and X-play have posted there Game Of The Year.
Gamespot went with MGS 4, which I think was worthy of the award.
    But X-Play chose Fable 2.

    What?
    What?

    Fable 2..
Don't get me wrong I love Fable, look at my little picture thing, its a Fable 2 screenshot.
But there were many stupid  bugs in that game that should have been picked up by the QA, the Co-Op was silly, and the Story was nothing unique and was very short.
I played that game avidly for about 20 hours but now I have no reason to play that game what so ever, even with the upcoming DLC.
Lionhead still hasn't even fixed all of the bugs in the first game, consumers shouldn't have to buy a full price game for a flawed product.
Now back to the wonderful world of Rolando!!
    Bounce,Bounce Bounce.
    Bounce,Bounce Bounce.

2009 or 2010 there is going to be a Daft Punk rhythm music game.
    GOTY.

Seems like a fair choice. It's a great game and as far as bugs go I never encountered any. The Co-Op is fucking terrible though, I mean, it's just awful. Just the fact that it's in the game drags the quality down. But Game of the Year to Fable 2, that's an ok choice.

That would be insane. Imagine playing Drum 'n' Bass Glory the brand new drum 'n' bass rhythm game

I thoroughly enjoyed Fable 2, and I will probably go back to it again at some time, but I wouldn't call it game of the year material.

Compared to all other things on the list and the ones that I've played, Fable 2 is really the only one that will have me coming back to it years from now. I'll be playing Fable 2 in 2010 like I still play Fable, Oblivion, and Freedom Fighters.
