I keep running into bugs in New Vegas :|
I think the patches messed up my old save, because I had zero issues with the game on release day. Then I put it away for a couple of months, and when I try to play it now (on my old save) it's bug heaven the few times it actually wants to load my save. Will probably just start over when the final DLC is out, since I DO want to s-rank that game one day.
Anyway, I'm really beginning to think I was really lucky during my 30 something hours long playthrough, cause other than a couple of very minor bugs, like NPCs walking towards a wall and such, I had what was very much a clean experience with the game. And sure, I'd like to see more videos, these were fun :)
Also, welcome to GB! I hope you have fun here ^^
5 patches in and I'm seeing nothing like those issues. I did completely erase my first playthroughs saves though, and I clear the cache often as well. Mostly it's creatures stuck in the ground or FR drops when too much is on screen. Still too fun to play, despite the bugs. OWB was great, and really looking forward to The Lonesome Road DLC.
That sounds goddamn terrifying.I played through virtually bug-free. The only thing I ever saw was the bug that sometimes makes radscorpions walk perpendicular to the ground.
Y-you're right. Thanks, man! I am getting flashbacks of Fallout 1, in which I would punch them to death with brass knuckles for pleasure and profit. Let 'em walk perpendicularly all they want, I bet I can still take 'em!@1337W422102 said:

No! You can't be scared; it's what the radscorpions want!!
I don't recall encountering any bug as bothering as Save Corruption. This only encourages to build my "press F5 every gawddamn second" habit.
That's about the worst I've seen, too, and I've had three playthroughs. Nothing more than some odd animations and clipping problems, but nothing game-breaking.I played through virtually bug-free. The only thing I ever saw was the bug that sometimes makes radscorpions walk perpendicular to the ground.
Played a speed run hardcore mode with no issues. Currently playing a normal game and have not encounter any issues except minor path finding issues from npcs. Xbox 360.
So you decided to use your first post as a giantbomb member showing us bugs in a buggy game? There are official forums for the game ya know :O
That's Gamebryo for ya. Although, I have to say, taking all the bugs out of the picture NV is a miles better game than Fallout 3 in just about every aspect.
Wait, so an Obsidian game running on a Bethesda engine occasionally glitches up? That's out of the question! Both of those developers have sterling track records in regards to game stability!
