    Among other things; full story.

Release date December 21st. 800 MS points.

    • Take part in a suspenseful post-apocalyptic casino heist in which you’ll need to work with three companions, each of whom has their own motivation for helping you.
    • Add hours of extended gameplay where you’ll encounter the mysterious Ghost People, pre-war death traps and the holographic security system of the Sierra Madre.
    • Navigate your way through a challenging new storyline, with even tougher choices.
    • New perks, achievements, and a raised level cap to 35.

    Will you get it?
Personally I haven't even finished the main story yet, due to just playing the game *too much* and frankly got tired after a while. Will most likely get the DLC and see to finish that story and remaining achievements with it.

I will "buy" it when it comes out on PC.  Muahaha.  Then buy the GOTY edition because I'll feel guilty about it later.  Muahaha.

I lose all motivation to play when my character hits level 30, even if there's a ton of stuff I haven't done yet. Five more levels is probably all the excuse I need to play a bit more.

I've yet to finish the story like yourself. I was too busy enjoying the game and then I just stopped gaming altogether, but I was always afraid of finishing the game to find myself reloading my first ever save or some gobbledegook like that.

Level cap increase? Looks like they've got my $10.

Should add that I'm still in the early 20s level wise, and have played over 30 hours of this game without actually setting foot into the strip (though I have been through Freeside many times).

That's nice, though I haven't even hit level 30 with either of my current characters.

I keep being disappointed with my character and making new games. I'm not sure if I'll ever finish the game, same thing happened with fallout 3

Well I was overpowered at the endgame already at 30, so neat.
Yeah, I think I'll check in in a year, 3 patches and 2 additional expansions from now, and most importantly, 4 unnofficial mod patches and a texture overhaul mod from now. Also hopefully Mart's Mutant Mod 2.0 will be out, that alone is worth more than any of these official addons if the previous batch of underwhelming FO3 expansions are any indictation.

Nice, I was hoping they would rise the level cap a bit more since there was some perks that I missed out on. Even if they didn't rise the level cap, I would still get this since its more Fallout.

It's kind of lame that the level cap is 35 and not 36, because we will only have access to only two perks instead of three :/

Wait, can't you just use the console to get rid of the level cap? That's what I did in Fallout 3...

I don't think I'll be buying any DLC for New Vegas.  The game is buggy enough as it is, and it's only going to get worse once they try to hook new content into it.

A lot of people probably feel like once you've evoked console commands and know how to use them, you've basically turned on cheating. I kinda felt that way. When you're looking for the code to bring your companion back, you can't help but notice the code for more skill points or god mode, etc.

...so instead you give Bethesda 10 bucks for something that's already in the game...

well, you give them 10$ for a questline, new enemies, perks and objects in the world...and also "something that's already in the game" despite there being no legitimate way of getting it.

No legitimate way...except the one included in the game.

@nintendoeats:  So it's legitimate to raise all my skills to 100 off the bat? or perhaps giving myself unlimited money or ammo?

That's not what we are talking about, exaggerating my position does nothing to prove yours (though to be fair, this a single player game so really people can go nuts for all I care, even if I don't understand why they would do that).

Including this level cap increase in the DLC is an acknowledgment that doing so will not "break the game" in any way. There is no reason to say that it is OK to accept a level increase through DLC (Or in the comparable case of Borderlands, a patch), but not through the tools that the developers explicitly made available.
