    Overview

    Family Guy Online was announced on June 15, 2011 from its official website which features an animation loop of Mayor West and offers a closed beta sign up.

    The website asks that players download the Web Unity Player after registering meaning the game will run in a browser much like Quake Live.

    Upon registering the user is asked to fill out a brief survey. The survey asks: "Which character would you most likely want to play as?" with the choices of Peter, Lois, Chris, Brian, or Stewie. The second question is "Which character would you least likely like to play as?" with the choices of Stewie's sister, Peter's daughter, Meg, or Chris' sister.

    Shutdown

    The game was permanently shut down on January 18, 2013 while still in it's beta phase.
