The sequel to the original Far Cry dispenses with Jack Carver, and moves the action to a war-consumed Africa complete with an open-ended storyline involving civil war, several hours of missions, heated gunplay, and a slew of dynamic elements powered by a new engine.
It wasn't terrible on the PC when it came to bugs, but the lack of an Autosave was infuriating. For a game like that where you can die so randomly, it's pretty important.
"360 Version is very buggy as well. I ran into a door in Dogon Sediko that I could not open to rescue a friend, the hand symbol that lets you open doors was nowhere to be found. This means that I can't progress any further in the game, I tried everything(reloading to a previous save, making sure i killed everyone around the building) and NOTHING! All I can do now is start the game over, 20 hours down the drain. Game needs some fixing.
Well at least I can still drive a Jeep Wrangler™around."
Yeah I had the same issue in a different part of the game. Its like a scripting error or something. The bad thing is, its written into your games saved data so its not like you can just restart the level. I got screwed halfway through the game too. I think Ubisoft monteral is a terrible developer and I'll never buy another title from them.
