Ubisoft has announced that on December 9th you can pick up Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon as part of their Ubi30 promotion. You just need to simply go to their Ubi30 website (https://club.ubisoft.com/en-us/ubi30) and follow the instructions to add it to your Uplay account. What's better is that you can add Beyond Good and Evil right now to your account in the mean time.

Great game. The soundtrack is superb.

All style, no substance. It's a run and stab game. You seldom really need guns with the accelerated cyborg speed. Just insta-kill everyone with the drawn out stabbing animations. Far Cry 3 was a more well rounded experience.

This Ubi30 thing has convinced me that Ubisoft has always been mediocre. Beyond Good and Evil isn't really doing it for me. Neither did Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Splinter Cell was never that fun and Rayman Origins was a frustrating game to beat. I preferred Super Meat Boy and Shovel Knight.

I'm still salty that Blood Dragon didn't even get nominated for best soundtrack of 2013.

Can this be redeemed for the ps4, or just pc?

@meptron: I don't think any of the Ubi30 promotional games so far have been for PS4. I don't see that changing now or in the future.

Of course it was...Blood Dragon wasn't trying to be well rounded. It's an 80's action movie parody.

Cool. I love free stuff!

But it's pretty shallow. One of the easiest shooters (or stab-a-thons, more like) I've ever played. There needed to be more to it.

@ezekiel: You're also talking about a game that started off at $14.99 and has regularly gone on sale for under $4. I think you might have just had some unrealistic expectations about what that game was supposed to be.

Loved Blood Dragon. Never forgot the zombie scientists learning to drive and rolling up behind me. Also the nuclear bombs going off far across the channel, and you would get this rush of air that would pick up then die down.

Nice, I played it a bit on PC and enjoyed it more than FC3. It reminded me of Perfect Dark in a way with its weapons and stealth. The soundtrack has some nice tracks on it too.
