You fully convinced me with your FEAR 3 Quick Look to relive my past experiences with the FEAR franchise from Monolith and to completely avoid FEAR 3.
Thank you good sirs.

That's great. I'm glad you avoided the new game and are feeding on the older ones.
If you wanna relive some REAL Monolith magic, go play NOLF again. I'm loving it currently !

I thought Cookie Monster liked cookies!
I don't know anything anymore.
That is too bad, Fear 3 is pretty fun. I am watching the Quick Look now, interested to see what Ryan said about it.
If you makes you feel any better, I still eat cookies, but in a sexy way.@CookieMonster said:

He used to, the sexual thing started when he was introduced to gingerbread men...
I dunnow. I think I could get behind this game if I find a friend to play co-op with. Seems to be the more fun way to play it.
@Marz: It depends how you play it. If you are playing it purely single player you can go through once as Point Man and that will unlock the ability to use Paxton on the missions. There is also a bunch of non campaign co-op missions that go up to (I think) 4 player co-op.

The quick look caused me to go and spend $60 on it, and I had some amazing fucking fun with the game. I'd recommend giving it another look, especially at the multiplayer. Also, the game's campaign makes a bad first impression, but it gets much better. They picked the mission that was lifted from MW2's Favela mission, but the one after that is great.

Seems like a game with potential. Though i do hear the campaign is really short, like 4 hours short(steam forums).
You tell me a game is four hours long and you've sold me. More time for other games.
I just got past where the quick look ended and theres something off about the "scares". I can tell they're trying to do what monolith did, but most of the time I just see the animation of alma disappearing and then I'm like oh she must have been there for a second. You can't really see her too well half the time either and theres this sound effect that accompanies her appearance. I think its gotta be the lighting and sound design and placement thats kinda ruining it. There was a pretty good one in the prison when you get that alma doll but that was it so far for me.
You picked up fear 3?when Shadow of the damned is out the same day i am not gonna lie your taste in games are pretty fucking terrible
FEAR 3 is a blast, but I can't get over how short it is. I'm doing my Fettel run now, and since I'm not exploring or getting lost, I'm blazing through it at an insane rate. It's clear that they wanted it to be played over and over like L4D, but there's little reason to keep going back to it.
Good thing the new MP modes are goddamn awesome. (except for their CoD zombies ripoff... "look at Alma and die"? Horrible idea.)
