    just now got the site to work and my key is in my email. you guys better hurry up before they run out of them AGAIN!

    I was able to get a key as well.  I have yet to be able to get to the page where I can d/l the client though.  Been trying for about an hour now and just keep getting messages that the page is taking too long to load.  Was hoping to get the client downloaded while at work, then just do a nice install from home.  Guess not.

    They released more servers so they made a bunch more keys available, site is probably being hammered again hard.

    hey i dont want to flood threads i just need a quick answer, when is the beta start? when will we be able to test it? i just got the email. do i just download and play right now?

    i didn't know about the client download. i had downloaded the downloader (thats retarded sounding) before the whole "critical bug thing" but i also downloaded the big files from a torrent over at FFXIVCore

    i assume this is still just for pc? our would this work for the ps3 version.

    Beta started September 1st. Follow the instructions in the email, download the client, let it do it's stuff, then you're ready to play.

    If it was a long time ago, then you will have applied for the closed beta. The open beta is a separate registration process, but you don't have to wait now - head here;
